In the Fall of 2013, an opportunity was presented to the Rotary Club of Stirling, regarding the possibility of assisting in building an Outdoor Classroom.

It was a special evening November 3rd, as the Rotary Club of Stirling celebrated our Rotary Foundation with the presentation of four Paul Harris Fellows at our Friday Night Social. A Paul Harris Fellow can be recognized when a contribution of $1,000 US is made to the Rotary Foundation.

The Rotary Club of Stirling, in a proposal to Stirling Rawdon Township, asked to turn an unused, overgrown piece of property, into a park area.
After hundereds of hours of volunteer time and contirbutions of various companies and local businesses, Station Park was created.

In 2002, the Stirling Railway station sat as an abandoned builiding and it was deteriorating due to neglect and was suffering from vandalism.
The Historical Society of Stirling wanted to preserve it and the Rotary Club of Stirling was looking for a new home for their meetings.
The Club decided to undertake the persavation of this historic 1879 building and this major project started.
